Today,
a friendship deal has been made called the North Atlantic Treaty
Organization (NATO). This is a deal between 12 sundry riches who are
willing to shield each other if any of the others gets into a fight
with their foes.
The riches who made their mark on the deal are: the US, Canada, the UK,
France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Denmark, Norway,
Portugal, and Iceland. Together, these riches see NATO as a way to
stand up to Russia and the Soviet Union.
The Soviet Union began in 1922, shortly after the overthrow of Tsar
Nicholas II, as a team between Russia and 4 other riches, but has
quickly grown to have 15 riches in the friendship. Along with the
Soviet Union's growth, so too has Western leaders' worry about the
Soviets taking over the whole world.
With the NATO riches shielding each other, it will likely put a damper
on the growth of the Soviet Union. Going forward, the riches making up
NATO hope that their friendship will bring a new steadiness to Europe
and the wider world.
