Jeff Bezos steps down as head of Amazon, putting Andy Jassy up to lead the business instead.

The overly wealthy Jeff Bezos who was lately overtaken by Elon Musk as the richest man in the world, has chosen to hand things over to the head of AWS Amazon's cloud reckoning wing Andy Jassy.

He said in an email to workers that he was not doing this so that he could stop working, but that running Amazon was a big burden and he wanted to go after his other undertakings.

Bezos is also working on the Bezos Earth Fund an ednewendly levin group, Blue Origin a star ship business, and The Washington Post a news outlet that Bezos bought a few years ago.

Bezos will step down for good in the third bit of Amazon's earning year 2021.

Andy Jassy has his work cut out for him as he takes on the biggest hardships from the leedward in its yorelore, with many US and EU leedward seekings into its unfriendly doings and lawmakers making laws that could make Amazon have to edbuild its business.
