US
Leader Joe Biden said on Saturday that the killings of Armenians in
1915 by the Ottoman Empire are to be deemed a theedslaughter.
Obama had sworn to name the Armenian theedslaughter when he ran in 2008, but by the end of his eight years, he had not done so.
The Turkish Leader, Erdogan, who has said over and over that the
killings were not a theedslaughter, had done his best to keep this
acknowledgement from happening.
Friendship between Turkey and the US has reached an all-time low in latter
years. After a takeover gone wrong in 2016, Erdogan has laid guilt for
the bid to take him down on the United States.
Erdogan sees Turkey as a mighty rich that is owed greater worth
worldwide. That belief has led to more boldness as seen in their heer
undertakings in Syria, Libya, and other nearby lands, as well as in
their search for oil in fought-over eastern Mediterranean waters last
year.
The US Embassy in Turkey said it would be shut down on Monday and Tuesday for there might be angry crowds getting together.
