Yesterday
evening, four gunmen went into a singing hall near Moscow and opened
fire on the helpless crowds who had gathered to see the Russish band,
Picnic. Since the show was about to start, folks thought that the
gunfire was only a bit of the show, but they soon understood that
something was going nightmarishly wrong.
Films spread on the web showing the gunmen storming into the building
and shooting onlookers. After gunning down hundreds of folks, the
gunmen fled, but were later found and locked up. Russia's foresitter,
Vladimir Putin, said that the outlaws were headed for Ukraine to meet
up with friends who would help them, before they were stopped.
The shooting happened at Crocus City Hall, a singing hall in the town
of Krasnogorsk, near the western side of Moscow. There have been 133
known deaths, and even more than that wounded. A wing of the outlaw
band, ISIS, said that the strike was their doing. While this has not
been shown to be true, ISIS has done strikes like this throughout
Europe before.
