Late
on Tuesday, the Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon sent weapon-wielding
drones to strike near a town in northern Israel. Hezbollah said that
their strike was to get back at Israel for killing one of their
fighters in an earlier drone strike.
Lately, Hezbollah seems to have become bolder and has started more
fights along Israel's northern edge. It is said that Hezbollah is
backed by Iran, and given the uptick in fighting with Hezbollah, it is
not hard to understand why Israel is not getting along with Iran either.
Meanwhile, many big name learninghouses in the US are dealing with
upset crowds who are speaking out against Israel's war with Gaza. This
week, Columbia University had to do its teaching on the web, owing to
angry crowds who have taken to sleeping outside.
As the death toll in Gaza rises, more and more folks worldwide are
speaking out against what is happening. But as Lebanon and other riches
nearby become more entangled in the fight, it doesn't look like things
will be cooling down anytime soon.
