The
foresitter of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, died yesterday in a liftcraft
mishap. Also onboard the craft was Iran's outland wickner, Hossein
Amir-Abdollahian. In the stead of Raisi, Mohammad Mokhber has stepped
in as foresitter for the time being.
A drone film came out on the web, showing what was left of the craft
after it went down. The mishap is said to be owed to something with the
craft not working right. The flight was headed back from Iran's shared
edge with Azerbaijan, where a new dam was being opened.
The death of Iran's foresitter comes at a time of great unsteadiness
for Iran. Much of the fighting between Israel and many of their Muslim
neighbors is thought to be wanted and backed by Iran. And likewise,
Raisi is said to be a backer of those deeds.
The highest leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, has said that things will go
on as they were and given the goahead for Mokhber to hold the
foresittership until a wale can be held for a new foresitter. A
gathering will be held on Tuesday to acknowledge the dead.
