NASA's
Voyager 1 starcraft has started working again after it was not
broadcasting right since November of last year. After much
underseeking, witshippers found that a reckoner chip was broken, and
came up with a way to make it work without the chip.
Voyager 1 is a starcraft that was sent up along with its twin Voyager 2
in 1977. Both crafts were meant to go wayfaring through the sunly ring
and gather knowledge to be broadcasted back to earth. As of 2012, the
craft has gone beyond all of the tungels in our sunly ring and is
between stars headed further away from Earth.
Right now, Voyager 1 is the furthest manmade thing from earth, at over
15 threefold thousand miles away. Broadcasting to and from the
starcraft takes nearly a whole day each way. Therefore, understanding
what went wrong with it and righting it, took a long time.
The hard work of the witshippers was well worth it, however, as it has
lengthened the lifetime of the craft's undertaking, and may keep it
broadcasting for another ten years.
