A
deal has been made between Japan and the Philippines to work together
on sundry harfolk undertakings. This deal will let harmen from each of
these riches go to the other's land for learning and fighting games.
This strengthening of ties between Japan and the Philippines is owing
to growing worries about China throwing their weight about in the South
China Sea. As China's sway grows near their shores, island riches
nearby are keeping on their toes.
Japan and the Philippines have a long yorelore that goes back hundreds
of years, not all of it being friendly. In WWII, Japan had a harsh
overlordship in the Philippines until the US helped free them. Since
then, however, the two riches have drawn nearer together in their ways
of life and trade deals.
Both Japan and the Philippines are friends with the US now. So it is no
wonder that their harfolks are working together as things between the
US and China heat up. It is yet to be seen if these friendships would
hold up if true hardship were to come about.
