China
is getting ready for their Shenzhou 19 undertaking, which will send a
starship with 3 starfarers aboard up above earth to the Tiangong star
atstall. So long as the weather holds up, the liftoff is set for the
29th of this month in northern China.
Shenzhou 19 will be undertaken with the Long March 2F starship that
will bear an umbwharft craft. Once the craft is up above earth, it will
fly in rings before linking up with the Tianhe heart bit of Tiangong
atstall. After the two crafts link up, the team will leave their craft
and go aboard the atstall.
This undertaking is meant to last 180 days before the craft unlinks
from the atstall and heads back to earth. The Tiangong atstall is
China's first ongoing manned star atstall and has been flying rings
above earth since early 2021.
While the team of starfarers has been chosen, their names have not yet
been broadcast openly. China's overseeing body for starfaring, CMSA,
has only been a thing since 1993, but it has come pretty far in that
short time.
