At
long last, Taylor Swift has taken back ownership of all of her songs in
a deal that is said to be worth $360 twofoldthousand dollars. The deal
happened earlier this year, but Swift made a broadcast about it last
weekend to let her followers know the good news.
When Swift first began her singing work, she swore away ownership of
her songs to a song business called Big Machine Records. For many years
she wrote and sang many big hits, like Fearless, Speak Now, and 1989,
but most of the wealth from her work went to the owners.
In 2019, Big Machine Records was bought by song dealer Scooter Braun,
who later sold it off to another business called Shamrock Capital.
These trades upset Swift, as she was never asked if she herself wanted
to buy the rights.
To overcome her lack of ownership, Taylor Swift began singing all of
her songs over again and broadcasting them as "Taylor's Version",
making the old songs new again. She was almost done edmaking them when
she took the deal to buy back all of her old songs.
