Netflix Buying Warner Bros

08-12-2025

Netflix and Warner Bros. broadcasted a deal where Netflix would buy most of Warner Bros.' workshops as well as their streaming businesses and many of their games, films, and farseer shows. Given how big both of these businesses are, the deal will be overseen by a handful of leedwards worldwide.

Warner Bros. owns many big-name films and shows, such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones, to name a few. This buyout of Warner Bros would also give Netflix ownership of HBO and HBO Max, a farseer and streaming business owned by Warner Bros.

Netflix is an American streaming business that is somewhat new when put up against Warner Bros. Netflix began in 1997, while Warner Bros was started in 1923, making it one of the oldest known American film businesses.

This buyout comes after cutthroat bidding between sundry would-be buyers, like Comcast or Paramount. In the end the offer came up to $28 for each share of the business. If the deal goes through, it is thought to be done by the last fourth of 2026.
