Chuck
Norris died yesterday, at the eld of 86, owing to a health plight. He
was taken to a sickhouse in Hawaii for his health and died there among
his kin. He has been left behind by his wife, Gena O'Kelley, and five
children.
Born Carlos Ray Norris in 1940, he grew up in Oklahoma and became a
well-known showplayer. He is best known for starring in fighting films
like The Way of the Dragon, where he fights Bruce Lee, or the show,
Walker Texas Ranger, where he fights outlaws.
Before becoming a showplayer, Norris was in the US Air Force. While
working as a ward in South Korea, a fellow liftman told Norris that
"Carlos" was the same as "Charles" in English, which was shortened to
"Chuck" and became his nickname.
Norris was also known for his fighting skills and won many karate
showdowns. He even made up his own kind of fighting called "Chun Kuk
Do." Between his fights and showplaying, he has become a worldwide
token of strength. Beloved by both his kin and show watchers, Norris
will not be soon forgotten.
